From Child Profiles (Created by Parents):

• Display name (chosen by parent — can be a nickname)
• Age group selection (used to provide age-appropriate content)
• Gender (optional, used for avatar display)
• Reel type (personality assessment result, used to personalize content)

Usage Data (Automatically Collected):

• In-app activity (games played, meditations completed, fog checks) — used to track progress and award Sparks
• Streak and achievement data — used for gamification features
• Community posts and reactions (moderated and filtered for safety)
• Device type and browser information (for technical support and optimization)

How We Use Information

• Personalization: To provide age-appropriate content, Reel-specific meditations, emotional tools, and activities tailored to each child's profile.
• Gamification: To track Sparks, streaks, achievements, and progress within the App.
• Safety: To moderate community content and ensure a safe environment for children.
• Parent Reports: To provide parents with activity summaries and insights about their child's engagement.
• Subscription Management: To process payments and manage premium membership status.
• App Improvement: To understand how the App is used and improve our features and content.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe receives only the information necessary to process your subscription. Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of your data.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Safety: We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to protect the safety of a child or the public.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the information we collect. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and profile data for as long as the parent maintains an active account. Parents can delete individual child profiles at any time through Parent Settings, which permanently removes all associated data including activity history, community posts, and avatar customizations.

Under COPPA and applicable privacy laws, parents and guardians have the right to:

• Review the personal information collected about their child
• Request deletion of their child's personal information
• Refuse further collection or use of their child's information
• Modify or update their child's profile information at any time through Parent Settings
• Control their child's community participation through Community Controls in Parent Settings
• Set screen time limits for their child's App usage

Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services:

• Stripe: For secure payment processing of premium subscriptions
• Authentication Provider: For secure parent account sign-in

Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management) and local storage for app preferences (screen time settings, parent PIN, theme preferences). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. No behavioral advertising is served to children through our App.
